We´ve stumbled upon a new way to organize musical creativity. We call it an open band, because it´s kind of like a band, but with an important difference:
1. It's open to anyone at TAT
2. We always write new songs.
3. We never rehearse old songs.
In a traditional band it sucks when your drummer is sick, because you can´t practice your old songs. But in an open band, the loss of one drummer is the chance for anyone else to play with them.
We create at least one song each time we meet. Some of these songs will be crap. Some will be enjoyable. Look at this blog as a public diary from the music room at TAT.
